Our families include birth, adopted, and foster children, all of whom interact with each other as living examples of God's Word. It is through the support of these individuals and church families that Grace has been blessed a hundredfold and grown into the vibr
ant community it is today.
Grace Church is made up of some 450 families and our congregation numbers about 950. There are more than 125 children enrolled in our Church School and Youth Activity programs and an average of 14 children baptized here annually. We are committed to offering a spiritually rewarding experience that affects the lives of all of our children and families.
An average Sunday at Grace is filled with the brightness and spontaneity of our children. We recently began offering a family-oriented liturgy as our 9:30 Eucharist. Here children and families are welcome to participate in a non-formal fashion where the liturgy is more accessible to the young. One never quite knows what will happen when the children are gathered around the altar but it is always "spirit-filled". Immediately following worship, the children attend Church School classes and learn about their spi
ritual journeys through lessons and activities led by the parents of our community.
While the family liturgy works for families with younger children, many families with older children bring them to Church School at 10:10am and then have the children join them at the Offertory during the 10:30am liturgy.
Families are encouraged to choose which liturgy works best for their family's needs.
