Jesus called his followers to come together and there to find the Holy Spirit, God’s abiding presence in the world. All services grow from the Book of Common Prayer; the prayer book of the Episcopal Church, which has both ancient and modern, emphasizes in its services. It is through this discipline of worship that one starts the road to discipleship. It is through worship that our 'outside' life is given a context of support and thanksgiving. It is in worship that God’s commandment to remember is made a part of our life together.
Flowing from the worship tradition of the mother church, the Church of England, the Episcopal Church calls its people to a wider discipline of daily prayer as a regular part of life and community service as an expectation of membership in the Body of Christ. At Grace Church we see worship as varied and inspiring to various people through their interest in participating in and through liturgy.
