If you are interested in the rites of baptism, marriage or funeral the immediate task is to get in touch with the church office (914) 358-1297 or e-mail us so we can send you the necessary explanatory documents. All services may include the Holy Eucharist.

Baptisms usually take place as part of the Sunday morning liturgy and are community events. They are most often celebrated on five principle feast days in the Church Year at our 10:30am liturgy celebration and allow the community to renew their baptismal vows. Special private services may also be arranged by contacting the office. Baptism Forms are available (PDF or Text)

Communion is offered to all those baptized Christians who wish to receive at the altar. We offer both elements —bread and wine— and you are welcome to receive one or both. At communion time if you are not able to receive the Eucharist but wish a blessing please kneel at the altar rail with your arms folded. A priest will gladly bestow God’s blessing. It is up to parents to decide when their child understands the sacrament and is ready to receive. Please speak to one of the celebrants prior to liturgy if you require additional information.

If you are a baptized Christian and wish to be Received into the Episcopal Church please contact the parish office.

Confirmation preparation is provided through our Church School for children and through individual instruction for adults. Please contact the parish office.

Weddings need to be arranged as far in advance as possible. Three premarital counseling sessions with a priest are required. Formerly married persons must have the permission of the bishop of the diocese to celebrate weddings. Blessings of committed relationships may also be arranged by consulting with the clergy. Funerals The Parish has a brochure to help you plan for this event. Celebrations of Life are part of the Christian responsibility and Grace Church is honored to celebrate the lives of the departed through the requiem liturgy, which can be arranged through the office. Confessions will be heard on Good Friday from 4:00 - 5:00pm in the Church or available through private appointment with one of the clergy of the parish. Please schedule an appointment through the Parish Office or by calling (845) 358-1297.
