Worship & MinistrySundays
8:00am Holy Eucharist (Rite I) 9:30am Holy Eucharist (Family service, followed by Church School) 11:00am Holy Eucharist (Rite II, Grace Choir) 4:00pm Choral Evensong (First Sunday of the month, October-May) All are welcome to receive either communion or a blessing. Infants and children are welcome at all of our services. |
Through our different service times, we offer a range of worship styles. Here’s what to expect on Sundays: At 8:00am we celebrate communion with a simple said worship service with scripture readings, sermon, and prayers according to Rite I from the Book of Common Prayer. During the the summer months the service takes place outdoors in the Garden, weather permitting. At the 9:30am Family Liturgy service we celebrate communion in a joyful and informal manner, designed to fit the needs of young children through a brief service with scripture, a short sermon and music that is supplemented by our Children’s and Parish Choirs. We all gather around the altar for celebration of the Holy Eucharist and our youth and others help to administer communion. At 11:00am, in a liturgy with a full complement of choir, organ and magnificent church music, we celebrate communion in a traditional and relaxed format with scripture, sermon, hymn singing and choral offerings. During the summer months church school and choir are on hiatus and the 9:30 and 11:00am services are replaced by one service at 10:00am, Rite II with music. At 4:00pm on the first Sunday of each month, October through May, join the choir and clergy for a traditional Anglican service of prayer, music and reflection. |
Each Wednesday: Wellness Service – a weeknight service dedicated to the ministry of wellness and self-care.
Services will be the first and third Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm in Bradley Chapel.
Healing Service (1st & 3rd) and Contemplative Prayer (2nd & 4th) on alternate Wednesday.
The Rev. Owen C. Thompson unless otherwise noted
