Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals,
Memorial Garden

Milestone events in our lives often draw us to faith communities and Grace Church is honored to be the setting for baptisms, weddings, and memorials. We hope that those wishing to celebrate with us will find this initial information useful, and urge you to contact us early in your planning. All services may include the Holy Eucharist.
Baptisms take place as part of the Sunday morning liturgy and are community events. They are most often celebrated on five principle feast days in the Church Year at our 11:00am liturgy celebration, but can also be scheduled for our 8:00am service or 9:30am family service. Guidelines and baptismal forms are available by clicking here. Information for godparents is available here.

Weddings need to be arranged as far in advance as possible. For first marriages, a minimum of three premarital counseling sessions with a priest are required. We would be happy to have a conversation with you about what is required if either of you has been previously married. Blessings of committed relationships may also be arranged by consulting with the clergy. For more information, click here, and for application, here.

Funerals can be planned directly with the Parish. Celebrations of Life are part of the Christian responsibility and Grace Church is honored to celebrate the lives of the departed through the requiem liturgy, which can be arranged through the office.

Flower memorials can be a meaningful way to honor the memory of a loved one. For a very reasonable cost ($250) you can establish a permanent flower memorial that will be noted in our prayers and bulletin on a chosen date each year for whatever our “forever” may be.
If you’d like more information on establishing a memorial, you may contact the office at 845-358-1297, or Altar Guild president Sally Ann Mock at 845-358-8014. Note that there are no altar flowers during Advent and Lent.
