We're so proud of our parish super heroes!
Click on the photo below for a great News 12 story about Super Hero Tuesday, a project spearheaded by Church School Director Annie Hekker Weiss, who with fellow parishioner Susan Wilmink created Nyack Nourishes,
raising money to feed our vital healthcare workers while also supporting local restaurants.
On Tuesday, April 28 they celebrated Super Hero Tuesday with a massive effort to thank those unsung heroes who are keeping Nyack moving during this crisis -- the postal workers, garbage collectors, delivery people, pharmacy workers, and so many more who come to work so that we can stay home and help to "flatten the curve." In an all day effort a small crew of masked helpers distributed hundreds of pizzas and gift bags, delivering them to grateful recipients with a smile and heartfelt thank you.
Our parish is blessed with so many people who are out in the community being the church
as they work hard to make a difference during this time.
