Through our different service times, we offer a range of worship styles. Here’s what to expect on Sundays: At 8:00am we celebrate communion with a simple said worship service with scripture readings, sermon, and prayers according to Rite I from the Book of Common Prayer. During the the summer months the service takes place outdoors in the Garden, weather permitting. At the 9:30am Family Liturgy service we celebrate communion in a joyful and informal manner, designed to fit the needs of young children through a brief service with scripture, a short sermon and music. At 11:00am, in a liturgy with a full complement of choir, organ and magnificent church music, we celebrate communion in a traditional and relaxed format with scripture, sermon, hymn singing and choral offerings. (resumes 9/12/21) During the summer months church school and choir are on hiatus and the 9:30 and 11:00am services are replaced by one service at 10:00am, Rite II with music. |

Worship Ministry |
Prayer Request |
Acolytes, Eucharistic Ministers (Chalice Bearers), Element bearers, Lectors (readers), and Ushers are integral parts of the Liturgical Services celebrated at Grace Church.
In their specialized roles these lay people are trained to assist the priest at Sunday celebrations of Holy Eucharist as well as at Weddings, Baptisms, Confirmations, and Funerals. If you feel called to explore service as a worship minister speak with our sacristan, Kickie Fulmor (click on the "learn more" button to email Kickie) or the clergy. |
If you would like to add a name to our prayer list, please let us know, and indicate if you would like a member of the clergy to contact you.
The prayer list is refreshed monthly There is also a book in the narthex (entry to the church) where – before the service begins – you may add names to be read at the Prayers of the People during the liturgy. |
