Coming in May from Adult Spiritual Formation:
A Conversation with Polly Ingraham
Wednesday, May 6th at 6:30pm - 8pm
The Adult Spiritual Formation Commission will host an evening with author Polly Ingraham about her beautifully written and thoughtful book, Unconverted: Memoir of A Marriage (Rootstock Publishing). The wife of The Rt. Rev. Rob Hirschfeld, Episcopal Bishop of New Hampshire, Polly will read from her book and respond to interview questions by Douglas Furth. Supper will be at 6:30 pm with the talk to follow at 7.
Polly's memoir traces her journey as an "unchurched" clergy spouse through three decades of marriage, three children, and four relocations. She grapples with issues of difference and her search for spiritual meaning in places that resonate with her life and experience.
A graduate of Dartmouth College and the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English, Polly lives in Hopkinton, NH. She has spent most of her career working in high schools, as both an English teacher and a career advisor. She launched "The Panorama of a Pastor's Wife" blog 15 years ago when she and her family lived in Amherst, MA. Now, she writes regularly on Substack at "Side by Side."
