Grace Reads: Becoming The Beloved Community

  • Aug 25, 2025
  • 1 min read

This summer, take part in GraceReads—a self-paced journey through books on faith, justice, racial equity, immigration, and community. Read one or many, from our list or your own.

We’ll gather in early fall for a Community Book Talk to share reflections and recommendations. No need to finish a book—just come as you are.

This sounds like a wonderful initiative! As someone who loves exploring diverse perspectives, I think events like Grace Reads are perfect for fostering understanding and dialogue. I always enjoy finding related titles at my local Books Store, and it’s exciting to see how these discussions can inspire both personal growth and community connection.

What a wonderful initiative! Exploring books that tackle important social issues helps us reflect on our own communities. I recently revisited Death Of The Teen Age, and it really opened my eyes to the challenges teens face today. Combining these readings with discussions like GraceReads can spark meaningful conversations and inspire positive change in our neighborhoods.
