Events At Grace Church | November 2025

Please mark your calendars for Grace Church's events happening this November!

Evensong | November 2nd, 4pm -6pm (Sanctuary & Memorial Hall)

Described as providing “respite and inspiration during our busy and modern lives”, Evensong is a 45minute service of choral music, prayers and readings rooted in Anglican tradition.  Following each Evensong, enjoy a Post-Evensong Recital featuring local and guest musicians - a perfect way to extend the afternoon of music and reflection.

Midnight Run | November 8th, 10am (Memorial Hall)

Come join Grace's team of volunteers make 100-125 lunches the second Saturday of each month at 10am, to be delivered that night to the homeless.

Labyrinth Walk | November 9th, 3pm

Church of Presentation: 271 Saddle River Rd. Upper Saddle River, NJ

There are many ways to communicate with God. Some are concrete, such as studying the Bible, while others are more intuitive, such as centering prayer. On the intuitive side, the labyrinth has emerged in recent years as a powerful tool for prayer and meditation.

Three years ago, ASF sponsored a visit to the beautiful labyrinth at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River. Since then, Grace has also installed temporary labyrinths in Memorial Hall and in Memorial Garden. This fall we felt it was time to revisit the Saddle River labyrinth, based on the identical template as the one at Chartres Cathedral in France, built in the early 1200s. Hope to see you there!

Bible Study | November 11th, 7:30pm (Patterson Hall)

Hosted by our Adult Spiritual Formation this group meets in Patterson Hall from 7:30 to 8:30 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.

Grace Reads Fall Book Chat | November 15th, 10am (Patterson Hall)

Join us on Saturday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. in Patterson Hall for a cozy fall book chat as we continue the conversation from our Becoming Beloved Community summer reading program, which focused on social justice and building a more compassionate world. Come share what you’ve been reading, hear from others, and help shape our next reading list. Enjoy good conversation, tea, coffee, and light snacks in a relaxed setting.

Pledge Sunday | November 16th: 8am, 9:30am and 11am

On November 16th, we will ask our parishioners to tell us with some specificity how you feel called to serve Grace. This helps us to plan for next year. You may be called to one of Grace’s ministries. You may feel called to give generously. Whatever your call, we hope that you will say, “Here I am.” We hope you'll join us Memorial Hall after each service for a special coffee hour reception.

GraceMusic: Dominion Brass Quartet | November 23rd, 4pm-8pm

Dominion Brass Quartet is a Washington DC-based, dynamic chamber ensemble inspired by the rich traditions of the British brass band style. Its members bring a wealth of experience from premier DC military bands, top-tier symphony orchestras, and championship-level brass bands across the United States. They will blow you away with their energetic and joyful music. Concert is followed by a "Meet The Artist" reception.
