Thank You for Supporting the Proyecto Faro Unity Walk

Rain couldn’t stop our dedicated Grace walkers from showing up for Proyecto Faro and Rockland’s immigrant families. The event included food, art, community, and even a beautiful Spanish dance by our own Anna de la Paz, making it a true celebration of solidarity. Together—with the help of generous sponsors—we raised $700 to support this vital ministry.

As Jesus said, “I was a stranger and you welcomed me” (Matthew 25:35).

Be a Part of Sunday Supper: Serve a Meal, Share God‘s Love

For more than 20 years, Sunday Supper has brought people together across Rockland’s faith communities to address local food insecurity. What began as an interdenominational effort in Nyack has grown into a vibrant tradition of hospitality and care—now hosted at Living Christ Church in South Nyack.

Sunday Supper is seeking 8-12 volunteers to form an additional team to serve a meal to our neighbors in need on Sunday afternoons. Teams rotate so each team is scheduled only once every two months or so. The team is responsible for meal planning, shopping, cooking and serving the meal. It is a great way to give back and build community with our guests as well as with other team members. In addition to adults, teens are encouraged to participate and will receive community service credits. For more information, contact Claudia Uccellani at uccell@yahoo.com.
