Lenten Suppers: The Holy Land, March 18th and 25th | Memorial Hall
The Adult Spiritual Formation Commission is offering two Lenten Suppers this year -- March 18 and 25. Both are focused on the Holy Land, where Grace Church is hoping to sponsor a trip in the future.

For the first supper, guest speaker David Opderbeck will present photos and insights from his recent Holy Land visit. Dr. Opderbeck is
Professor of Law at Seton Hall University Law School, and also has a Ph.D. in Systematic and Philosophical Theology from the University of Nottingham, UK. He is a member of West Side Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and his latest book is Faithful Exchange: The Economy As It’s Meant to Be (Fortress Press).
For the second supper, longtime Grace parishioner Jeff McDowell will provide additional insights from Catholic priest James Martin, S.J., author of Jesus: A Pilgrimage, based on the priest's visits to the Holy Land. Jeff previously led a well-received discussion series on this book.
Lenten Suppers will take place on March 18 and 25 (both Wednesdays). The evening begins at 6:30 pm with a soup/salad supper, followed by a 1-hour program starting at 7.
